As a new feature, the Festival will expand its programming beyond documentary films to include fiction, docuseries, and fashion films.
The lineup includes the screening of Couture (2025) by Alice Winocour, starring Angelina Jolie, Anyier Anei, Ella Rumpf, and Louis Garrel, premiering in Catalonia. Set amidst the frenzy of Paris Fashion Week, the film intertwines a critical perspective on how the female body is monetized and represented in the luxury industry. Fashion is used as a metaphor for resilience, linking the “seams” of clothing to life’s scars. From the present to the city’s past, the Festival will also feature the musical Funny Face (1957) by Stanley Donen, a classic comedy set in the world of Parisian fashion, starring the iconic Audrey Hepburn—still an enduring symbol of past, present, and future—and the legendary Fred Astaire. The film offers a perfect combination of memorable choreography, glamour, and the exquisite aesthetics of haute couture.
Kingdom of Dreams, a cult documentary series, will have its first two episodes screened at Moritz Feed Doc, providing the experience of viewing it on the big screen. The series explores the enormous influence of figures such as John Galliano, Bernard Arnault, Anna Wintour, Tom Ford, and Domenico De Sole, with insights from industry references including model Lily Cole, writer Amanda Harlech, milliner Stephen Jones, and critic Tim Blanks. The series producer, Peter Ettedgui, will attend the Festival to present it in Barcelona.
Also featured is Openin Nite (2025), a collection of audiovisual pieces created for David Delfín’s Openin Nite collection, presented on the Circuit de Barcelona runway in 2001, a hub of avant-garde and independent design in Spain at the time. The pieces are directed by Diego Postigo, a key figure in Delfín’s creative universe.
